Former Bullitt County Sheriff David Greenwell was found not guilty yesterday after a four day trial in federal court in Louisville. Greenwell was accused of aiding and abetting a huge drug trafficking organization and obstructing justice. The case involved more than 1,000 kilograms of marijuana and 500 grams of methamphetamine. He was found not guilty on all counts in U.S. District Court in Louisville, Kentucky. The case was investigated by the FBI and DEA in California and involved multiple wiretaps.
